Hsin-Huang Michael Hsiao
Hsin-Huang Michael Hsiao received his Ph.D. in Sociology from State University of New York at Buffalo. His long-term research has focused on comprehensive analyses and theoretical interpretations of Taiwan’s postwar development experience, as well as the formation and characteristics of the Asian middle class. He has also conducted comparative studies on Hakka communities in Taiwan and Southeast Asia. In addition to academic research, he has actively participated in public policy initiatives and the promotion of international exchange.
