Elisa Christiana

  Elisa Christiana (李秀珍) holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Arts, and a Master of Education degree. Since 2001, she has been a lecturer in Chinese language, literature, and cultural studies in the Department of Chinese Literature at Petra Christian University. She served as Chair of the Department of Chinese Literature from 2003 to 2009 and again from 2013 to 2022. From 2022 to 2025, she was Director of the Office of International Office.

As the university has a Center for Indonesian Chinese Studies, and as a second-generation ethnic Chinese of Hakka descent, Elisa Christiana has developed a strong interest in the study of Indonesian Chinese communities, especially Indonesian Hakka studies.
